To the editor:

Well, Donald Trump is no longer our president. I feel some sadness. Not only was he different, he provided such fodder for our newspaper, but also fodder for television and nighttime talk shows. He was, in my opinion, one of a kind.

Yes, I know he could be brash, too quick to speak and on numerous occasions stuck his foot – ugh – in his mouth. But wasn’t he “The Donald”? What else could I say?

Will President Biden do a better job? I don’t think so, but we’ve got four years of Mr. Biden to find out. It will be four years in which we will need all the prayers we can muster. Frankly, we as a nation have needed that all along.

The Donald has gone, the White House has brought in a Democrat, and the question is what will Donald Trump do next. He won’t remain idle.
