To the editor:
In writing this, I just heard on the local news how in the last few days just short of 1,000 tickets were given to drivers in High Point. I commend our Chief Stroud and his officers to reign in bad driving. It used to be that from Thanksgiving season until New Year's, driving our streets was really horrible. Now it's every day. No turn signal, speeding, lane changing and let's not forget talking on the phone to name a few. Also seeing there have been 0 traffic fatalities during this time. This may help our insurance premiums from climbing. So in closing THANK YOU to those who have taken the oath to SERVE AND PROTECT. Pass it on.
