HIGH POINT — Geraldine Davis got her call from God and answered on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. Geraldine was born in Mullins, SC to the late Elder Harold Lee Davis and Marie Jones Davis. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Davis Jr. and Dan Davis and one sister, Mrs. Bonnie Faye Sykes.

Geraldine attended William Penn High School. She was well loved by her family and friends. She was a former employee of Royal Development Company, where she retired with 45 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Vicky Davis, Tonjia Davis Rivers and James Faron (Tania); one daughter-law, Tammy Miles Davis; brothers, Willie Davis and Johnny Davis; sisters, Pearl Henderson, Bertha Bristow, Betty (Ken) Bowden, Debra Davis and Leatha (Billy) Keel, all of High Point; grandchildren, Shadaria Davis, Keyonna Tuttle, Destiny Rivers, Terrique Davis and James Faron Davis Jr., whom she raised while his parents served in the military; great-grandchild, Imari Pemberton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service will be held, Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Ms. Davis may be viewed on today (Nov. 17) at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4 until 7 p.m.
