HIGH POINT — Mr. David Lee Pittman, 76, transitioned from his earthly life on Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was born on Sept. 8, 1944, a son of the late David Pittman and Roberta Pittman.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Pittman.
David was employed with the City of High Point and Mr. Ray Gallimore for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memories to, his only daughter, Sheila Pittman; granddaughters, Latoya, Ashley (Rashon), and Tiffany; his grandsons, Micte and Antonio; his great-granddaughters, Beloved, Aniya, Rayhanna, Rayniyah, Raynise, Markisha, and Tarkisha; his great-grandsons, Jeremi, Johansom, Jomario, Rayshawn, Rayquan, Micte Jr., Antonio Jr., and Rashon Jr.; sisters, Martha, Cephua, Dianne, Barbara, Elizabeth, Mary and Joyce; brother, Collin Pittman; those whom he raised as his own, Cynthia, Glenn, Ralph, Tyron, and Sharon; his special friend, Betty of the home; two special friends that were really close to him, Wanda and Uncle Bae Earl; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
