HIGH POINT — William Franklin “Bill” Inman, age 98, widower of the late Carrie Myers Inman, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021.
Born in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Samuel M. Inman and Maggie Harris Inman. Mr. Inman was a former employee of Melrose Hosiery and retired from Lilly Company. He attended Hayworth Wesleyan Church. He was a very good farmer and was a NASCAR fan.
Mr. Inman is survived by a daughter, Nancy Livengood and her husband William.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262 with burial to follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
