HIGH POINT — The United Way of Greater High Point will celebrate its 12th annual CANpaign Food Drive and announce its 2021 campaign goal next week.
For the past 12 years, the United Way has collected canned goods to help restock local food pantries within the greater High Point area. United Way leaders say the food drive celebration is an important way to kick off the campaign season as it highlights generosity throughout High Point.
The meeting on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at 815 Phillips Ave., will include a visit from the High Point University Cookie Cab and the university mascot, Prowler.
