• Kenneth Devaris Bingham, 40, Delta Place, Greensboro, was charged with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, Sept. 1.

• Brian Chadwick Felder, 340, Ridgeway Place, High Point, was charged with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, Sept. 1.

• Myer Shea Tucker, 18, Aldridge Road, Archdale, was charged with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, Sept. 1.

• Alejandro Eulugio Martinez, 19, Renola Drive, Archdale, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and no operator license, Sept. 1.

• Sheim Bennett, 26, Chatham Drive, High Point, was charged with one count each of disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct and resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer, Sept. 1.

• Brent Knight, 57, homeless, High Point, was charged with violating restrictions on a release order, Sept. 1.

• David Tyler Tuft, 21, Leeds Avenue, High Point, was charged with communicating threats and telephoning repeatedly for the purpose of annoying, Sept. 1.

• Police are investigating an attempted online extortion and threat of blackmail against a resident of Suffolk Avenue, Sept. 1.
