• James Quinton Scearce, 24, Hunt Road, Lexington, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, Sept. 21.

• Nakia Shante Bridges, 36, Eastland Avenue, Greensboro, was charged with impaired driving, driving while license revoked/impaired-based and improper registration, Sept. 18.

• Deshawn Drayton-Shelton, 21, Furlough Avenue, High Point, was charged with prohibited firearms possession by a felon, Sept. 21.

• Hunter Chase Mason, 23, Wright Street, High Point, was charged with injury to personal property, Sept. 21.

• Sheila Sheff, 59, Parkhill Crossing Drive, High Point, was charged with one count each of communicating threats and second-degree trespass, Sept. 20.

• Kaleb Turvious Fairley, 29, Royal Oak Avenue, High Point, was charged with carrying a concealed gun and transporting wine or liquor in passenger area, Sept. 17.

• Mackenzie Raye Wiles, 20, Broadmoor Drive, Advance, was charged with hit-and-run property damage, Sept. 18.

• Derek Scott Price, 30, homeless, High Point, was charged with second-degree trespassing, Sept. 18.

Incidents

• Police assisted paramedics with a drug overdose at a residence on Roy Avenue. The woman was revived with Narcan but declined further medical treatment, Sept. 21.

• Police went to Manley Street after a reported disturbance that turned out to be a drug overdose. The person was acting erratically and running around nude in the street in front of their home. The person was taken to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center for treatment. There were no charges at this time, Sept. 21.

• Police are seeking whoever broke into a residence on Grace Street and stole $440 worth of power tools, Sept. 21.

• Police are seeking whoever broke into a car parked at Armstrong Park on E. Parkway Avenue and stole a purse, Sept. 21.

• Police are investigating a reported financial fraud perpetrated against a resident of Willowood Drive that cost the victim $700, Sept. 21.
