• Ashley Southerland, 26, Prospect Street, High Point, was charged with assault and battery or simple assault, Dec. 1.
• Ali Y. Khdier, 18, Arlington Street, High Point, was charged with assault and battery or simple assault, Nov. 30.
Larceny/Theft
• James Benny Quick, 53, Windley Street, High Point, was charged with habitual larceny, Dec. 1.
• Damien Lee Clark, 20, Lake Avenue, High Point, was charged with financial transaction card fraud, Dec. 1.
• Matthew D. Hughes, 22, Lake Avenue, High Point, was charged with financial transaction card fraud, Dec. 1.
• Jake Lee Threatt, 25, Shields Road, Kernersville, was charged with one count each of felony larceny and possession of stolen goods, Dec. 1.
Drugs/Alcohol
• Matthew Charles Everhart, 35, homeless, High Point, was charged with one count each of possession of a controlled substance Schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia and defrauding a taxicab, Dec. 1.
Other charges
• Joy Lynn Ward, 57, West Avenue, High Point, was charged with one count each of failure to report an accident and making a false report to a police radio broadcasting station, Dec. 1.
Incidents
• Police investigated multiple shots fired into a residence on N. Hamilton Street. The gunfire caused $700 worth of property damage but no one was reported injured. Officers found numerous shell casings in the roadway, Dec. 1.
