High Point Police Department reports from Jan. 26, 2021

Breaking and entering

• Naim Amar Solomon, 22, Kirkwood Street, High Point, was charged with one count each of breaking and entering with intent to terrorize or injure occupant and violating the Domestic Violence Act, Jan. 26.

• Ganga Ram Sunar, 64, S. Elm Street, High Point, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering a building, Jan. 26.

Assault

• Derrick William Rhodes, 45, Gatewood Avenue, High Point, was charged with one count each of assault inflicting serious injury and prohibited display or discharge of firearms or other weapons, Jan. 26.

• A.J. David Spring, 36, Cliffvale Drive, High Point, was charged with one count each of assault inflicting serious injury, assault by strangulation inflicting serious injury, assault on a female by a male over 18 years of age and possession of drug paraphernalia, Jan. 26.

Larceny/Theft

• Shaqurian Baldwin, 21, E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, Jan. 26.

Drugs/Alcohol

• James Benny Quick, 53, Tipton Street, High Point, was charged with one count each of possession of a controlled substance Schedule II and second-degree trespass, Jan. 26.

• Joi A. Legrand, 24, Wellingford Drive, High Point, was charged with one count each of possession with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver a controlled substance Schedule VI and maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance, Jan. 26.

• Timothy M. Dungee, 25, Oak Street, Greensboro, was charged with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a controlled substance Schedule VI, maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance and prohibited weapons possession by a felon, Jan. 26.

• Christin Ann Welch, 34, Lawyers Road, Wingate, was charged with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a controlled substance Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia, Jan. 25.

• Jaihdyn McDowell, 20, Ridgecrest Drive, High Point, was charged with one count each of possession with intent to sell, deliver or manufacture a controlled substance Schedule VI, maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, Jan. 25.

Other charges

• Marsha Lynn Johnson, 44, Hodgin Street, High Point, was charged with allowing a vicious animal to run at large, Jan. 26.

• Nathaniel T. Matthew II, 24, Moreland Avenue, High Point, was charged with resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer, Jan. 26.

Incidents

• Police are seeking whoever stole a pressure washer worth $200 and 30 pounds of copper piping worth $100 from a vehicle along W. Green Drive, Jan. 26.

• Police are seeking whoever stole a wallet from a car parked along Seashire Court, Jan. 26.

• Police are seeking whoever stole items from an unlocked car along Lamb Avenue, Jan. 26.
