WALK-IN CLINIC

The Davidson County Health Department will hold walk-in vaccination clinics this week with no appointment necessary. The agency is at 915 Greensboro St. in Lexington.

GROUP APPOINTMENTS OFFERED

The Guilford County Division of Public Health is encouraging people to schedule group appointments for vaccinations. Residents may now schedule appointments for themselves and their family members or friends to be vaccinated on the same date and time. To schedule group appointments, call 336-641-7944, Option 2, or check the website www.healthyguilford.com.

POP-UP VACCINE SITES

Novant Health has announced the deployment of its mobile health units to priority ZIP codes across all of its markets in an effort to provide easier access to the COVID-19 vaccine and increase vaccination acceptance. Each week, mobile events will be held at high-traffic locations such as grocery stores and residential areas, including public housing communities and homeless shelters, to provide up to 250 doses of vaccine during each event. Appointments are available, but not required.

NOVANT STARTS WALK-IN SHOTS

Novant Health has opened up walk-in vaccinations at all the health system inoculation sites. The closest one in the area is Novant Health Medical Group at 196 Hanes Mall Circle in Winston-Salem.

WALK-UP VACCINATION OPTION

Walk-ups are now accepted at all Cone Health COVID-19 vaccination sites and community clinics. Cone Health is using the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
