CONE HEALTH VISITORS
Cone Health is restricting the number of people who can visit a patient in the hospital to one a day (two visitors were allowed previously) because of COVID-19 numbers rising in the community. While only one person a day may visit, patients can have different visitors on different days. The change applies only to patients in main hospitals. $100 CARDS AVAILABLE
The Guilford County Division of Public Health will distribute $100 cash cards for first-time COVID-19 vaccinations Beginning today through Aug. 31 or while supplies last. Individuals 18 years and older also are eligible to receive a $25 cash card for transporting someone to a first-dose appointment, with a limit of one cash card per visit.
Cash cards will be available at all first-dose community and mobile clinics. Cash cards will also be available at the Guilford County Public Health clinic at 501 E. Green Drive.
VACCINE GIFT CARDS
The Randolph County Public Health Department is distributing a limited number of $25 Summer Cards to individuals 18 years of age and older who receive their first COVID-19 vaccine. The cards will not be given to those receiving their second dose. Gift cards also will be given to those who transport individuals to the health department for the vaccine. The number to call to schedule an appointment is 336-365-6110. The phone line is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
