ARCHDALE — After an inaugural event in 2019, the food trucks are returning to Archdale.
The SerCo Club of Archdale-Trinity will again host the Spring Bash Food Truck Festival on Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. on Bonnie Place. The COVID-19 pandemic made such an event impossible last year, but with the passage of another 365 days, a sense of normalcy will again fill the city streets.
“It’ll kind of feel normal for a moment,” said J.D. Peace, president of the SerCo Club of Archdale-Trinity. “We’re getting there, but it’s an actual outdoor event … so you can enjoy the music and enjoy a cocktail if you want one.”
The free event will feature a dozen of the Triad’s best food trucks, as well as live entertainment and The Mustang Mafia. Food trucks at the festival include PinKor’s Delight, Fresh Catch Seafood, Big John’s Hot Dogs, Westcoast Wanderer, Kyle’s Concession, Zeko’s 2 Go, Taco Bros, The Wet Whistle, Sunset Slush, Chill Shack and Slick’s BBQ.
In addition to hamburgers, hotdogs, Mexican, Italian, philly cheese steaks, Japanese, funnel cakes, sweet treats and shaved ice, live music will include an array of different styles. The headlining band for the festival will be the David Reavis Band.
Also performing are Tatum Scott, as well as The Collegiates.
The performance times are as follows:
6 p.m. — Tatum Scott
7:20 p.m. — The Collegiates
8 p.m. — David Reavis Band.
